The Snap Bathroom Collection is simple yet never banal, refined yet unpretentious — discreetly elegant. The star role is played by ‘Noir Saint Laurent’, the French marble of the wash basin, chosen by designers Annunziata Forte and Cristina di Marzio for its extremely sophisticated colour black, streaked with white and gold. The term ‘Snap’ defines the creative process that lead to the conception of both the wash basin and the collection of furnishing accessories for the bathroom ambience.
After a careful study of the materials and individual elements to be produced, the characteristics that were identified as the most important, useful and appealing were captured, highlighted and “snapped together”. Hence marble was used for its luxuriousness, refinement and elegance, its weightiness redeemed by the design of a graceful, suspended basin. Not a solid shape standing on the floor, but an object of dynamic concept, as are the lateral wooden columns, Snap Fit and Snap Fat, that flank the basin element: monolithic in front, these have hollow sides, which can be fitted with mirrors, and with open and closed shelves of various sizes.
This simple object – rendered solid, reliable and classic through the use of marble – is graced with the poetry, refinement and allure of the delicately veined Noir Saint Laurent marble. Also suspended, the cabinets – available in a variant with mirrored front –forsake severity, embracing vanity to the extreme. This wood wasn’t merely chosen: it was especially “created” by the designers and craftsmen, whose magical skills transformed Lati wood into Lati Suave, to combine discreetly with the chosen marble.
The Snap wash basin, a furnishing statement of great intensity, and the array of coordinated accessories of the Snap Bathroom Collection enable flexible and effective combinations for small-scale and more sizeable bathroom ambiences.
